i am on a journey to become well read. pretty straight forward right? well after i read each book i’m going to put up a short (very short) description and what i thought of the book. i would love love love it if i got suggestions from y’all based on what i put up. :D

(i’ll fix the sideways-ness one day)
this is the handmaids tale by margaret atwood (obviously)
its a basically about a world where politics control female sexual/reproductive organs. it’s pretty upsetting but very interesting. i recommend it and any feminist or general seeker for knowledge :)
miss peregrine;s home for peculiar children is great. it’s magical fantablulism (my favorite genre). this book is about a boy who grows up hearing these incredible stories from his grandfather and eventually he stops believing in monsters and fairies. but then his grandfather is killed by one of the monsters (and he sees it) so he goes on a quest to find the people his father alway told him about. it’s AMAZING. i would totally read it again. there are some really great pictures in there too (people floating and shit) and they’re all real vintage pictures.
